Many institutions are supporting Man & Nature, by funding projects or collaborating on technical issues requiring specific knowledge and eperience. Based on experimental works carried out for 20 years in Madagascar and supported by the National Museum of Natural History, USAID and French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Man & Nature has developped a specific approach combining biodiversity conservation and local communities development.

Thanks to technical partnerships with United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and with United Nations Environment Programme's (UNEP) World Conservation Monitoring Center (WMC), Man & Nature has focused on enhacing biodiversity by pushing or consolidating natural ingredients sectors on national or international markets.

Man & Nature's members also participate in many working groups and national or international think tanks (IDDRI, NRSC, UEBT...). Man & Nature was nominated one of the best initiatives of 2012 by the Clinton Global Initiative.

In July 2013, Man & Nature decided to support the Small-Scale Initiatives Programme (SSIP) of the French Global Environment Facility (FFEM). We also regularly collaborate with Agence Française de Développement's (AFD - the operator for France’s bilateral development finance mechanism) in the framework of the "Economy, businesses and biodiversity" project that AFD is co-financing.
